Besides being an awesome son, the best of three siblings, and the world’s best husband, my name is Srinivas and I am an MBA. I live in Atlanta, GA where I went to business school. I am currently a Principal Product Manager for Mobile Banking solutions at Fiserv, a leading global provider of information management and electronic commerce systems for the financial services industry. Prior to joining Fiserv, I spent a majority of my career as a strategy and technology consultant with Accenture, Deloitte, CGI, and Jabian Consulting.
Before I tell you what this blog is all about, let me start with it’s purpose. The intent of this blog is to provide information and techniques to tackle your most important topics using an MBA trained approach. Each post will consist of an amalgam of my experience, research, discussions, and vetted web data.
The goal here is to create a conversation with all audiences, ranging from Analysts to C-Level Executives and Housewives to Self-Employed/Small Business, about solving everyday problems, be it corporate or personal. If you look around you, you’ll find creative solutions to solving any sort of problem either in the office or at home. But given the fast pace these days and limited time in people’s lives, these creative solutions go unobserved! Surfacing these solutions and making them visible to all through our conversation is my objective!
Along with the blog’s intent, you probably need to understand what it is NOT intended for. First and foremost, this blog is not intended to provide the silver bullet – if you’re looking for that one answer to solve your problem, you may not find it here.
Don’t you know in Business, we are good at coming up with acronyms! But this one stands for Master of Business Administration.
Ever since I was a kid, I was always curious. That curiosity led me to explore multiple majors in college, learn many musical instruments, and most importantly, take up consulting as my career. In consulting, not only do you get to rake up airline miles and hotel points to use on personal vacations (yes!), but you also get to work on multiple projects and learn about different clients, industries, people, and ways of doing things.
To sum it up, I am a huge nerd and I love to keep the learning and thinking going! Life is short, your brain is huge (1400 grams!), so might as well fill it up as much as possible.
Anything really! And it’s not just about business. The intent of this blog is to apply an MBA trained approach to understanding, dissecting, and defining solutions to any sort of issue, problem, or challenge. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be any one of those – it could be just exploring a topic you don’t understand.
Of course. Submit your questions here.
